This is a fantastic short film. Maybe I should watch it a few times until the lesson sinks into my head? You’ll feel better about everything after you watch this film.

This is a thing that happened on Friday, June 7th as I was editing the pods and writing up the show notes:

Chris Hardwick's new Glasses

Those are very nice glasses. But for me all I could think was: Beautiful. His eyes are always so stunningly blue or grey. The picture reminded me of the scene in King Kong where they just look at the sun set. Then I googled “King Kong beautiful.” I found the video of the scene.

This capture illustrates the sadness of the scene. There were other Kongs but now he is alone. There is so much sadness. By the end of the scene King Kong and Ann just look at the colors of the sun set. The scene is mirrored at the end when they are looking at the sunrise. It breaks my heart when he does the sign for beautiful.
